Celebrating the efforts of employees is a significant part of the Campus culture. From the unit level to Campus-wide, every November during Employee Recognition Month, UIC honors many of its deserving employees. Below are the campus-wide accolades, with their descriptions, that are currently open for nomination: Award of Merit, CAPE Award, INPSIRE Award, Janice Watkins Award, and Woman of the Year. Each of these awards is honored at the annual Employee Recognition Award Ceremony, to be held this year on November 4, 2014 at the UIC Forum.
Please visit the UIC Human Resources’ Employee Recognition webpage for additional details about the Employee Recognition Award season and the annual November ceremony.
The UIC Award of Merit was established to provide a mechanism for Campus leadership to recognize, appreciate, and honor its outstanding Civil Service and Academic Professional employees and faculty.
