This November 20th webinar looks at how to prepare for performance discussions. Employees are now expected to engage in discussions with their managers, communicating their own perceptions of their work progress, and proposed goals for improvement and development. To do this effectively, employees need to clearly understand what their role in the discussion will be and how best to prepare. It is essential they hone the necessary skills to effectively participate. For rich, meaningful, authentic performance discussions to occur, both managers and employees need preparation. Human Resource professionals have an important role to play in helping to ensure that employees are able to be active participants.
What you will learn:
An overview of the skills employees need to be engaged participants.
Practical tips to use when teaching or coaching employees getting ready for performance discussions.
Practical tips for coaching managers who want to help their employees prepare.
